Action Alert: Affordability Sign On by Friday, December 18th
Throughout the national health reform process, National Latino Children’s Institute has been particularly concerned with the affordability standards in the proposed legislation and its effect on Latino families. As the Senate works to wrap up debate, we must look ahead to the merger of the House and Senate bills. This is the final opportunity advocates have to work to improve the affordability standards.
Along with Families USA, Community Catalyst and the PICO National Network, National Latino Children’s Institute is working to get organizations to sign on to this letter (below) calling on the President and Congress to use the best affordability and coverage provisions from both the House and Senate bills in the final health reform bill. We urge your organization to add its name to this effort to ensure that Latinos are well represented.
We need you to take the next step…
Please send organizational sign-on information, including mailing address and website, to durquia@nlci.org no later than Friday, December 18th.
